Automated Welding System

Scope:

A redesign of an existing 6-axis was required.  The machine required remote control as the area of operation is restricted to humans.  The existing system was out of date and not documented for manufacturing.  The updated machine required programmable CNC control with the ability to remotely control the machine as needed.

A drive system redesign, 3D model and complete manufacturing print package was created for the machine.  Welding cameras were incorporated for remote monitoring of the weld process.  A complete machine was manufactured with highly successful system control over the welding process.
