Roll Crane Upgrade

Scope:

The Roll Crane Upgrade implemented servo position control into a print roll staging system.  New drive systems were designed for servo system implementation.

A complete servo analysis and drive system design was completed for precise servo control of the system.

Project Highlights:

• Complete drive system design with torques up to 100,000 in-lbs.
• 3D modeling of system allowed design of accurate drive system into existing system.
